Keep every photo from your session private
Some sessions are just for you. With Private Session, MayerPix does not use any photo from your session publicly — not on its website, in its portfolio or on social media, and not in ads, exhibitions, competitions, prints or licensing. You add it in your Client Portal any time before your gallery is delivered.
Who Is Private Session For?
For ordinary sessions, the Agreement lets MayerPix show some photos in its own portfolio and on social media, and before your gallery opens we ask whether you allow more. Private Session switches all of that off for your whole session.
It is for anyone who would rather keep their photos to themselves — a family session, a personal portrait, a couple’s shoot or a proposal you’d rather not see online — or who simply prefers privacy.
What Private Session Gives You
No public use
MayerPix does not use the photos from your session on its website, in its portfolio, on social media, in marketing or ads, in exhibitions, competitions or industry showcases, or in prints, products and licensing.
No “further uses” question
The Agreement’s portfolio and social-media permission does not apply to your session, and we don’t ask you about further uses before your gallery opens.
Early delete
After delivery you can delete the photos from your session early, in your Client Portal, confirmed with a code sent to your phone.
Everything You Need to Know About Private Session
MayerPix may ask — you may say no
Later on, MayerPix may ask your permission to use specific photos. You are free to decline, and nothing changes if you do — not your delivery, not your gallery, not any future booking.
Only what you approve
If you say yes, only the photos you approve, for the uses you choose, may be used — for five years from your session date. Everything else stays private.
Sharing with family and friends
You can still share your gallery with the people in your photos. They can view and download the photos, and MayerPix doesn’t ask them anything.
What doesn’t change
Your photographer, your retoucher and the MayerPix team still work with your photos to deliver your gallery, and secure services store and deliver your files. None of that is public use.
Your price
20% of your photography package, rounded to the nearest $50 — never less than $100 or more than $300. You see the exact price in your portal before you add it.
No refund for a later yes
If you later allow MayerPix to use specific photos, the Private Session price is not refunded or reduced: the protection covered your whole session the whole time.

Book your session
Book any ordinary session as usual — online or by phone.

Open Shop & Extras
In your Client Portal, open Shop & Extras and choose Private Session to see what it gives and your price.

Accept and pay
Accept the Private Session Terms and pay securely, like any other extra — any time before your gallery is delivered.

Your photos stay private
From then on, MayerPix makes no public use of any photo from your session.

- Private Session can be added only before your gallery is delivered.
- It is available for ordinary sessions. Boudoir sessions are already private at no extra charge, under their own terms.
- Private Session has its own terms, which apply in addition to the Agreement you accept when booking.

Private Session questions
01How much does Private Session cost?
20% of your photography package, rounded to the nearest $50, with a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $300. Your exact price is shown in your Client Portal before you add it.
02When can I add it?
Any time after booking and before your gallery is delivered, in your Client Portal under Shop & Extras.
03Can MayerPix still use my photos?
Not publicly. MayerPix may ask your permission for specific photos; only the ones you approve may be used, for the uses you choose. You can always say no.
04Can I share my gallery with family and friends?
Yes. Share it from your gallery — the people you share it with can view and download the photos, and MayerPix doesn’t ask them anything.
05Can I delete my photos early?
Yes. After delivery you can delete the photos from your session in your Client Portal, confirmed with a code sent to your phone. Deletion is permanent, so download anything you want to keep first.
06Is it available for every session?
