This policy describes how Peter Mayer, doing business as MayerPix Photography ("MayerPix"), collects and uses personal information through mayerpix.com, our online booking, our client portal, our phone and chat assistant, and our services.

• Identity and contact: your name, e-mail address and mobile number — to book, to verify your identity with a one-time code, to send booking messages, and to prepare your Agreement.
• Booking details: the service, date, time, location, options, price and payment schedule for your Booking, and any answers you give in the session-preparation questionnaire, including reference images you upload — to provide the service.
• Payment information: the amount, date and status of payments and refunds. Your card details are entered with, and held by, our payment processor; MayerPix does not store them.
• Your Agreement and acceptance record: the version of the Agreement you accepted, the time of acceptance, and the technical details of the acceptance (such as the IP address and browser used) — to preserve the contract for your Booking.
• Photographs: the photographs from your Session, the images you select, and your final gallery — to deliver the service. Your choices about MayerPix's own use of photographs, and any authorization you give, are recorded with the Booking.
• Portal messages: messages you exchange with our team in the client portal.
• Text messages: the texts we send you and your replies — for example, when you approve or decline an additional service by text.
• Calls and chat: if you call us, we receive the number you call from (caller ID) and may use it to get back to you; the call may be answered by an AI assistant and may be recorded and transcribed; if you use our web chat, the conversation is processed by an AI service. You are told at the start of a call that it may be recorded.
• Website use: technical information such as your IP address and browser, used for security (including bot protection on our forms) and to keep the site working.

We use service providers to run our business. They process personal information only to provide their service to us: a payment processor (Stripe); telephone and text-message services (Twilio); AI speech and language services for our phone and chat assistant — speech recognition (Deepgram and OpenAI), the assistant's language model (OpenAI) and voice synthesis (ElevenLabs), which receive call audio, transcripts and chat text only to handle your enquiry; media storage and delivery for your photographs (Bunny.net); Google Workspace for e-mail, calendar and file storage; website hosting (Kinsta); website analytics (Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit); and bot protection on our website (Cloudflare).

Photographs are taken and edited by photographers and retouchers who work with MayerPix as independent contractors, some of them outside the United States; they may handle your photographs and the contact details needed for your Session, under confidentiality terms, and only for your Session.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

MayerPix keeps the copyright in photographs. Whether and how MayerPix may use a photograph in which you are recognizable is governed by your Photography Services Agreement and, for particular Sessions, by the separate document you accept; nothing in this policy gives MayerPix any such permission. Boudoir photographs are private by default. We do not use photographs to train artificial-intelligence models, and we do not use facial recognition, age estimation or biometric analysis.

• Your final gallery stays available for 30 days from the delivery message; after that period ends, plus a short technical buffer, the delivered gallery is removed, unless you have deleted it earlier where that option is available for your Session.
• Photographs you authorized for MayerPix's use are kept, as separate copies, for the uses and the time you authorized.
• Your Agreement and its acceptance record are kept for as long as MayerPix needs them to show what was agreed for your Booking.
• Booking, payment and portal records are kept for as long as MayerPix needs them for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
• Recordings and transcripts of calls, and conversations with our website chat assistant, are deleted from our systems within 90 days.
• Identity documents: we do not photograph, scan, copy or store identity documents. Where we check an ID for an adults-only Session, we record only that the check was made, how, when and by whom.
• Exceptions: we may keep a specific record longer where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute, and deleted information may remain in backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need, by e-mailing contact@mayerpix.com. We answer within 30 days. Some information cannot be deleted while it is needed for a Booking, for accounting or legal purposes, or under an authorization you gave. You may stop text messages as our SMS Terms describe. Calls may be recorded, as we tell you at the start of each call; if you do not want a call recorded, you can end it and contact us by e-mail instead.

Our website uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used; Google may collect information about your browser and your activity on our site and, depending on your Google settings, across other websites. Our website does not respond to browser "do not track" signals. We do not use advertising trackers.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 online. Photographs of a child are taken only at a Session booked by an adult, and MayerPix's use of such a photograph requires the parent's or legal guardian's separate authorization.

We use access controls, one-time codes for portal access, and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your information and to limit who can see it.

We may update this policy. We post the new effective date at the top and, for a material change, tell clients with an active Booking by e-mail.
